The Albion have done it and our whole city is bursting with pride in their achievement.

I’ve always been honest about not following football closely, but I’m the biggest fan possible of everything the Albion does for our community as well as on the pitch. I really couldn’t be happier for them and every fan today. For many diehard fans it will be the happiest day of their lives and I hope you all get to celebrate this amazing day.

Things like this don’t happen by accident. It happened because of the staggering about of hard work put in by the players and management, the leadership and investment of brilliant chairman Tony Bloom, and the unflinching support of fans and our city.

Let’s enjoy the moment and then redouble our Albion support for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
