I was up early to cheer runners in the Brighton and Hove Half Marathon this morning. Runners were set off by local hero Fatboy Slim, who sounded the starting horn then jumped off the podium and ran the race himself! What a legend.

Thanks to the team at The Sussex Beacon for staging another amazing event, it raises much needed funds for them. And thanks to the police and council staff too for keeping us safe and managing the traffic and cleaning up afterwards.
