Thank you to the University of Brighton who invited me to spend the morning at their graduation ceremony. Being in the midst of so many students whooping with joy and parents with tears of pride in their eyes was really quite something.
Celebrating the joy of education and the sense of achievement of graduating is such a privilege.
I was also in the amazing position of wearing the Sussex University doctoral gown for the first time since my own graduation in 2004.
The university took a photo of me in my gown and gave me a copy and if you look closely you’ll see something surely unique…a Sussex University gown in a Brighton University photo frame…I think I had all the bases covered today!! All the best, Peter
