The bank holiday weekend seems a long way off already, but I hope you had a good one. I managed to visit some of the festivals that were going on around Hove and Portslade.

There was a fantastic community festival up at Hangleton Park with something for everyone, and at the other extreme I went along to the Hove Food Festival on Hove Lawns. It was jam packed. Thanks for inviting me to all these community events I love going and I’m looking forward to a few more in the fortnight ahead. I hope this great weather sticks around a while longer too! Please let me know if there’s a community event in your area I should know about as I love hearing about all this activity going on in our neighbourhoods. All the best, Peter
