A fantastic day at Pride yesterday. Thanks to everyone for welcoming visitors from around the world to our city and showcasing our values. And thanks also to the many health and police staff who worked so hard all weekend.

I was a trustee of Pride in Brighton and Hove for three years. I learned first hand just how many vulnerable people are supported by the profits from Pride Week, and how much impact on policy it has when so many people come together to celebrate and campaign for equality.

I hope those of you who ventured into town yesterday also had a good time at the biggest party of the year!
