On the 13th of April Iran launched around 170 drones, over 30 cruise missiles, and more than 120 ballistic missiles into Israeli air space. Keir Starmer is committed to opposing such aggression internationally.

Starmer stresses that “restraint” must be encouraged, however, “Iran has chosen a different, dangerous path”. A Labour government, with Peter in it, will be committed to using our influence in international institutions to promote “peace and security”, not isolate the UK as the Torys have done.

Peter has worked extensively as an aid worker in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, mostly helping young people affected by war, so understands the necessity of upholding our international rules-based order. Peter stands firmly against such unilateral action.

Peter is also the vice-chair of Labour Friends of Israel and seeks to promote their security into the future.
