Considering how much campaigning I’ve done here over then years it’s a miracle it’s taken so long for it to happen…but whilst out meeting residents in Downsview today I knocked on a door with no answer so I popped a card through the letterbox and, unknown to me, my fingers straight into the jaws of a waiting dog! Ooouch!!

I have renewed admiration for my brother who is a local postman, and marked the dog down as UKIP on our log sheets! I hope you have less drama in your weekend, all the best, Peter
