Congratulations to everyone who ran the Brighton Marathon yesterday! The marathon is a fantastic event which raises thousands of pounds for charity and gives the whole city a buzz.
My own feet are sore today – but not from running Im afraid – I spoke to people on the doorstep from Brunswick to Mile Oak over the whole weekend. It was a marathon of sorts but not as difficult as running 26.2 miles.
I did spend some time cheering the crowds and we had a marvellous street stall, but I wanted to say that if you ran the marathon yesterday I hope you’re reading this in bed on a well deserved rest!
