Mile Oak Park

Why are other parks in the city having lots of money spent on them but Mile Oak isn't? Don't Mile Oak deserve the equipment? Is Mile Oak less important than other parts of town? Let's do something! Join the campaign!

"We're local mums living in Mile Oak who want the best for our kids. We're angry and we've had enough of being overlooked by the council. They pour money into parks in the centre of town and they ignore us in Mile Oak. Please join our campaign. Let's make a noise and get the equipment that our children deserve at long last."

Natalie Downes, Chair of Mile Oak Rec Action Group

Tiffany Soanes, Secretary Mile Oak Rec Action Group

"It's a fact that this council prioritises investment in the centre of Brighton over Portslade. This is wrong. Nowhere is this more evident than the Mile Oak Rec.

The people behind the Mile Oak Action Group are an inspiration. They are angry and want results. I pledge my support for the local community in Portslade because I want to make your voice heard louder than ever before. Please join us, because together we can get the investment the children of Mile Oak deserve."

Peter Kyle, Labour MP for Hove & Portslade
