Thanks to our local kids for getting us all into the Christmas spirit. Last week I went to the children’s carol concert at St Nicholas’ Church in Portslade which showcased the breathtaking talent of our local youngsters. They sang, played instruments, and those in the audience were perfectly behaved and having a great time.

And on a Friday I arrived into my office to find it had been decorated by students at West Blatchington Primary School. Paper-chains and tree decorations have transformed my office into a Santa’s grotto! Thanks so much to all the kids in Monkey class at West Blatch, and those who performed so well on Thursday, you’ve brought a lot of Christmas cheer into loads of peoples lives, me most of all.
